Sanitary

The inscription on the building ‘1909 Sanitary Underwear Company Soc. An.’  indicates that this was a textile mill between 1909 and 1992. It was one of the first concrete constructions on the European continent. Nowadays the restored Sanitary building houses the town council services. The steam engines of the former factory have been preserved in the steam engine museum, which is temporarily closed.
